Reverend Conte, a prolific expert on the occult and whiskey, accompanies a ragtag group of outcast military men to a remote island in the South Pacific to investigate the disappearance of Marine units stationed there in 1944, supposedly at the hands of the Imperial Japanese Army. Talking to the island's inhabitants, they soon discover that the Marines had been massacred by a group of lycanthropes, known to most as WEREWOLVES.
