During Season 8, Angel Batista was not always played by David Zayas
He's smart. He's adorable. He's Dexter Morgan, America's favorite serial killer, who spends his days solving crimes and his nights committing them.
His son David Zayas Jr
replaces his father in some shots, as the two look remarkably alike. Visible throughout the first season, Dexter has a large scar on his left side. Later in the second season, the scar has moved to his right side, leaving his left side unmarked.

Dexter Morgan: I've lived in the dark for a long time. Over the years, my eyes adjusted, until the darkness became my world and I could see. Theme Song Written by Rolfe Kent Portrayed by Rolfe Kent.
Dexter, a forensics expert by day, serial killer with a vigilante edge by night
Dexter is creating a believable and very detailed portrait of a, shall we say, problematic sociopath. One of the parts of the show I like the most is the emotions that normal people exhibit, forcing Dexter to mimic them. It's fun when the emotions Dexter fakes become real and he's scared to death, like in the relationship with his "girlfriend" Rita, a mother of two and victim of her abusive ex-boyfriend.
A thrilling story, lots of details, and one of the best opening sequences ever
I also liked Jennifer Carpenter's performance as Dexter's sister Debra, it adds a nice splash of color to the show, without falling into clichés.
