The movie was filmed in the historic Independence Square
Story
Alana Higman, a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan, and her family are competing to win the team's Fan of the Year award, judged by Derrick, Director of Fan Engagement. Enjoy your life with this year's lineup of romantic holiday-themed movies to watch at home.
Independence, Missouri, which actually looks like it all year round
The locations that served as the Higman family store and Norma and Nick's BBQ restaurant are also real-life family stores. The square is also lit up with Christmas lights, just like in the movie.
I thought it was a nice movie
It's a sports theme, and I loved the little Easter eggs (Donna Kelce, Andy Reid, and older retired players) that popped up in the movie. This is definitely a great movie that tries to fit in with the best family of all time.
I highly recommend watching the movie, especially if you are a woman who loves sports and romance
This movie was a nice departure from the usual 'strong female lead comes to a small town to fix things and falls in love with a small town boy'. Overall it was a typical movie and still a nice Christmas themed movie, although not as big a theme as football.
