Pansy (Marianne Jean-Baptiste) is a miserable, fearful woman prone to violent outbursts against her husband, her son and everyone in sight. Meanwhile, her soft-spoken younger sister (Michele Austin) is a single mother whose life is different from Pansy's because of their different temperaments - filled with communal emotions.
