He's smart. He's lovable. He's Dexter Morgan, America's favorite serial killer, who spends his days solving crimes and his nights committing them. During season 8, Angel Batista wasn't always played by David Zayas. His for David Zayas Jr. replaces his father in some shots, as the two look so much alike. Visible throughout the first season, Dexter has a large scar on his left side. Later, in season 2, the scar moved to the right side, leaving the left side unmarked. Dexter Morgan: I lived in the darkness for a long time. As the years went by, my eyes adjusted, until the darkness became my world and I could see. Performed at the 64th Annual Golden Globe Awards (2007). Main Theme Written by Rolfe Kent Performed by Rolfe Kent. This will be my first review on IMDb, I watch a lot of movies and series. For the first time in my life, I found myself unable to sleep after watching a series. I have seen prison breaks, heroes and much more. The first season of Prison Break and Heroes were amazing. They inspired me so much that I got a few tattoos on my body. However, both the series are discontinued as soon as they move on to the next season. Heroes was a huge disappointment but DEXTER.. Oh my God, series after series, it starts making me so curious about the next episode.. damn season 4. I just couldn't sleep the whole night after watching it. I spent my weekend watching the episodes back to back. To start with Dexter (Michael C. Hall), his darkness was on edge, he played the role so well that sometimes I wonder if he is the same in real life but then I found out that Debra Morgan (Jennifer Carpenter) is his real wife who plays his sister in this series. Damn, Debra is a character who is so confused and controlled mostly by the people around her that she always ends up doing something wrong but always gets credit for the good things too. Dexter cares when he thinks about something or when someone is talking to him and also the part when he talks to his late father Harry. (he only thinks about what his father would say in that situation). My favorite characters are Dexter (pretty obvious), Rita and Vince Masuka, damn Vince is so funny, he only says one word in the whole episode and it ends up being really funny. I can't wait for season 5 and I'm sure anyone who watched Dexter feels the same way as I do. (I apologize if my first review contains some mistakes and offends anyone's feelings)
