Jude Law in "Skeleton Crew"; plus more stars from a galaxy far, far away
Story
Four children make a mysterious discovery on their home planet that leads them to get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. The holographic circus that entertains Neel's young siblings is the same one that Chewbacca's family watches in the infamous Star Wars holiday special (1978).

Knowing that a lot of hate will be directed at this series due to the ups and downs of recent Star Wars, I'm happy to say that this is an upswing. So far...The first 2 episodes don't break new ground, nor are they very original, but that doesn't matter, as it delivers well overall.
It's giving me heavy Treasure Planet vibes
The cast and their acting are excellent, the costumes/set design are probably the best we've seen since Andor, the writing, especially the hilarious banter between the kids, was good. Again, nothing new, but it's intriguing nonetheless, and I'm excited to keep watching.
Don't let the "for kids" talk put you off
As someone who hasn't enjoyed the recent Star Wars, I was pleasantly surprised by Skeleton Crew. I hope anyone even remotely interested, or even upset by the recent shows, gives it a shot.
