Before you know it, you're so involved that you just have to know who did it!
To be honest, I have to admit that at first glance I wasn't really sure if I would be remotely interested in the series, but somehow it managed to pull me in. All the characters are extremely easy to love and you can very easily identify them with a person in your life.
My favorite quote from the show is, "Looking back, everything great in your life seems like a miracle" Very poetic because it resonates with all of us
It's also a gentle reminder that we're all here trying to do the same thing, live and enjoy life, so we might as well try our best to get along and, most importantly, be kind to each other. I will also admit it was a little odd seeing Ted Danson in this role, especially knowing him as Cheers character "Sam"; but soon enough, "Charles" tugs at the heartstrings without leaving any sad memories of "Sam." A bittersweet yet tender reminder that Father Time doesn't play favorites.
It's a nice change of pace that doesn't leave you feeling guilty about enjoying another "cop" show
I hope you watch it and recognize and understand the daily challenges some face in our society and lives on a daily basis.
