The series is mostly well made, and the Jackal actor is very good here
In The Jackal (1973), the Jackal also drives a white Alfa Romeo, but an earlier generation model. Quoted in Graham Norton i gosti: Denzel Washington/Paul Mescal/Saoirse Ronan/Eddie Redmayne/Blossoms (2024). There are some scenes where I think it's unlikely that the Jackal wouldn't have been easily identified by a security camera, like in episode 1 after the sniper shot when he comes out of the hotel.
Maybe it's because it's based on an old book (or TV series?) where this wasn't an issue
Also, the second and probably bigger problem is that the actress playing the detective really can't express herself and only has one facial expression. At work? Blank stare.
Talking to daughter?
Shot? Blank stare. Black stare.
