This series has a playful way of having fun with this basis, through a suburban town of Happy Hollow, where the residents and their teenagers get involved in some strange goings-on, led by a high school heavy metal band and their wild antics - with the demonic Satan along with Bruce Campbell as the police chief being a plus and an absolute blast, as is Julie Bowen, a concerned mother who is thrown around by an entity and even manages to see visions of the evil horned creature.
Mostly it is about the hysteria that parents create to deal with the situation
There is a lot going on in this series; school bullying, doing anything for attention, peer pressure, longing for acceptance, and all the things associated with teenage angst.
