Story

Follows the titular superhero as he reconciles his heritage with a human upbringing. He is the embodiment of truth, justice and American style in a world that considers it old-fashioned. James Gunn tweeted that his father's death influenced the script. The film's release date of July 11, 2025 was his father's birthday. When James Gunn originally finished the first draft of the script, he called the film Superman: Legacy. By the time he locked the final draft, it was clear to him that the title was SUPERMAN.
